The Former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia, TACSO project office is currently working on the implementation of the informativative events that will take place in four different cities around the country. On the 17th of February, one informative/partnership event, with the Unit for Cooperation with NGO from the Government of the Former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia, was held in Struga, on the 18th in Stip, Bitola on the 19th of February and Skopje on the 22nd of February. The beginning of these events focused on promoting the TACSO project, while the remaining time is dedicated to informing CSOs about the Financial Support that the Government of the country will provide for CSOs from its Budget in 2010.

Suncica Sazdovska – Resident Advisor
Ms. Sazdovska has a Bachelor degree in Technology and pursues postgraduate education in the field of Strategic Management. She has ten years of extensive professional experience in the area of civil society development working as project manager, consultant and trainer for Macedonian Center for International Cooperation (MCIC), Civic Platform of Macedonia and the Organisation for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE). Ms. Sadzovska is also author or co-author of many publications and articles in the field of civil society, such as “Human Resource Management for CSOs”, “Civil Society Index in Macedonia” and others. She is a Member of the Committee of the Civic Platform of Macedonia and Member of the Counseling Board of Educon Ltd. Macedonia.
Ms. Sazdovska has a proven record in the field of program and project management skills, public and donor relations, organisational strengthening of CSOs through development of capacity building plans and strategic planning, development and delivery of trainings for CSOs, networking and partnership, and many more. She facilitated the establishment of the Civic Platform of Macedonia – network of 35 recognized CSOs, and also the establishment of NGO Fair Forum of the Civil Society in Macedonia.
Mirjana Pehcevska Pop-Iliev – Project Officer
Mirjana Pehcevska Pop-Iliev is working as the Project Officer on the TACSO project. Ms. Pehcevska Pop-Iliev has an International Masters Degree in Human Resources Management and is finalising Post Graduates Studies of HR Management at the National University. In March 2010, she will earn a Certificate for Global Career Development Facilitator (GCDF) Counselor. She is responsible for the implementation of the program activities in the national project office and for the communication issues related with the media and other stakeholders in the country. She has more than seven years professional experience in the International donor organisations in implementing and managing projects working as Project Manager, HR Trainer and Human Resources Manager.
Valentina Atanasovska – Administrative and Financial Assistant
Valentina Atanasovska is working as the Administrative and Financial Assistant on the TACSO project. Her duties comprise financial project accounting and follow-up, liquidity forecasting, monthly reporting, administrative support, translation of materials and other duties. Ms. Valentina Atanasovska has received a Bachelor’s Degree in Teacher of English Language and Literature and Translator of English at the University of Cyril and Methodius, Skopje, further on, she has a Masters degree in Business Administration at Northeastern University of Illinois, Chicago, USA and is currently working on her second Masters degree in Monetary Economy. The most important achievement in her life are her two princesses, Ana Marija and Magdalena.
