Prishtina, July 28, 2010 - The Technical Assistance for Civil Society Organisations (TACSO) office in Kosovo is organising a training "Preparation and management of the EU funded project" including financial rules and management for all applicants that have successfully passed the concept note phase. The training is composed of three modules: training, practicum/mentoring and follow up phase. TACSO will provide mentoring and help desk services for all participants of this training up to the stage when Civil Society Organisations (CSOs) will submit the final application.
The training will be delivered to three gropus of participants. The first group will attend the training on 28-31 July 2010 and the second group during 4 -7 August 2010, in the premises of Hotel Trofta in the Istog- Peja region. The training for the third group will be organised for Serbian CSOs and will be held at Hotel Palace Mitrovica on 9-11 August 2010. A total of 33 Civil Society Organisations will benefit from this training programme.
TACSO is a regional EU funded project, one of the objectives is to strengthen the overall capacities and accountability of Civil Society Organisations within IPA beneficiaries (Western Balkans and Turkey). Through this activity, TACSO is supporting Kosovo CSOs in applying for the European Instrument for Democracy and Human Rights (EIDHR) call, a European Union program that aims to promote and support human rights and democracy worldwide.
