STE: Relations between Civil Society and Media in Kosovo

Open Call for Short Term Expert (STE) to prepare a Research Paper on Relations between Civil Society and Media in Kosovo


The main purpose of this assignment is to conduct a research paper on the relations between civil society and media sector in Kosovo. The assignment shall be implemented with the support of TACSO Kosovo office.

This research should cover the following aspects:

  • Relations and communication of CSOs with media outlets;
  • Sustainable cooperation between CSOs and media;
  • Presence of the work of CSOs in media;
  • Role of media in the image of the CSOs and relations with general public.

Application procedure
Applications must be sent in English and entail the following:

  • Letter of intent and availability;
  • CV should be presented in the EU format;
  • References from similar assignments;
  • Brief explanation about the methodology;
  • Proposal on remuneration, in the form of gross fee per day.

Access to Education for Roma
The Study Visit, Access to Education and Employment for Roma Youth - Good Practices and Models from Spain was organised from May 9-11 in Madrid, Spain within the framework of the People to People component of the TACSO Project. The Visit focused on the model by the Fundacion Secretariado Gitano (FSG) over the past 35 years, including educational and employment programmes as well as awareness-raising and anti-discrimination work.
