TACSO Croatia Office, Government Office for Cooperation with NGOs and Association SMART jointly organised three informative workshops about IPA 2009 Grant Scheme for Civil Society Organisations.  Informative workshops were held in Zagreb on 14 Jul 2010, in Split on 19 Jul 2010 and in Osijek on 21 Jul 2010.

The workshops focused on two Grant Schemes in the framework of the National Programme for Croatia under IPA – Transition Assistance and Institution Building Component for 2009 – under Civil Society Facility: „Building Capacities of the CSOs for Implementing Innovative Social Service Delivery Programmes in the Areas of Special State Concern“ and „Building Capacities of the CSOs for Monitoring and Advocacy in the Field of Democratization, Human Rights, Minority Integration and Sustainable Refugee Return in the Areas of Special State Concern“.

136 CSO representatives participated in these events. Representatives of Central Finance and Contracting Agency (CFCA) attended as guest speakers in all three informative workshops giving detailed information and explanations on these two Grant Schemes.
